Superior Vending is currently immersed in the development of several new and exciting programs for the educational market.  The first such program focuses on healthy snacks and fresh food options for the elementary and secondary public school market segment.  One key element of this initiative includes Superior’s participation on Nutrition Committees at every public school district account.

Another new program is the establishment of internship programs in any district which has a culinary arts program.  Students will have the opportunity to work at Superior on a part time basis during the school year and full time during summer vacations.  This experience will provide real life work experience and a potential career path for students and will be beneficial for both SVC and the students.

we are members of the New York State School Food Service Association (NYSSFSA), as well as Westchester Coalition for Better School Food.

Commissions are scaled across product categories.  For instance, Superior Vending’s cost on 24 cans of Welch’s Fruit Punch is approximately $8.00, whereas cost on 24 cans of Tropicana 100% orange juice is

$14.50.  Our program offers both selections to the student at the same price, while varying the percentage commission paid to the school, 25% and 7% respectively, in this case;  the student is not penalized for making the healthy choice.
Sensible Choice Featured Service

The “Sensible Choice” plan is designed to generate commission revenues on sales from vending machines on school property while maintaining a healthy balance of affordable foods and beverages, offering nutritious alternatives to “junk food”.  Machines are located in:

  1.  Cafeteria areas

  2.  Teacher’s lounges

  3.  Common areas

Superior Vending works closely with school administrators, principals, teachers, students and Wellness Committees to offer a wide selection of healthy alternatives while maximizing vending commission revenue.

Superior Vending services every machine, every day in all of the districts in which we operate:

  1. Scarsdale

  2. Eastchester

  3. Yorktown

  4. Dobbs Ferry

  5. White Plains

  6. Port Chester

  7. Rye

  8. Darien, CT

Our schedules position our school route men near the busy cafeterias during lunchtimes, in communication with the office via Nextel radio, and ready to respond to any machine problem immediately.  Four technicians and a route supervisor are also on staff and available for immediate service needs.  Product use is closely monitored throughout the first months of operation to determine the optimum mix.  Sales revenues and product usage is recorded daily.  Products are eliminated or their stock levels increased based on consumption, until we generate the highest revenue possible.

SVC is incorporated with Snapple's "Frequent Thirst Program," which pays schools $.50 for every case of Snapple sold. This comes at no cost or obligation to the school. High commissions are paid monthly and generated through our automated systems. These commissions are awarded on every item sold! There are no out of pocket expenses and we will even provide the outlets if need be.
